This one is very down the middle for me. I’m extremely excited to see Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams in a supernatural themed show. However, this preview doesn’t do much for anyone but the apartment building. Going on first impression alone, I’m definitely interested, but this preview isn’t helping.

This screams mediocrity and will rest solely on the shoulders of the JK Simmons. Can he carry his own show?

How To Live With Your Parents
Surprisingly looks better than it reads on paper. Though I’m not sure I see this one sticking around. It looks like many previous canceled sitcoms of the last decade.

Last Resort
Everyone is expecting this show to be the next big thing. It definitely has the potential and after watching this preview, I’m convinced it could be. One of the best new drama trailers.

Malibu Country
This will surely peak the interest of former Reba fans, as well as all those family friendly sitcom lovers. But it seems more on brand with ABC family as opposed to ABC.

Mistresses
What is the point of this one? This show seems extremely messy with no clear point of view. Is it just a group of women in love with married men? There needs to be a show about this? Happy Yunjin Kim will be back on TV though.

Nashville
This seems to have massive potential. The possibilities of a show about the country music industry and the drama surrounding one star on her way up and one on her way down is something that begs to be on television. Here’s hoping this one lives up to that potential.

The Neighbors
I’m going to go out on a limb and say I think this show will find an audience. There’s a group of people who watch Modern Family and I think would enjoy something like this. That said, it was surprisingly funnier than it read on paper, but this will really have to be consistent for me to stick around with such a ridiculous premise.

It doesn’t look horrible, but it does seem completely gimmicky. This show will almost surely get lost in the shuffle and be one of the first casualties of the season.

Zero Hour
Aside from a few clearly poorly executed moments, this trailer looks fascinating. I’m not sure how I feel about Anthony Edwards as a leading man. Aside from that, anything with a conspiracy involving religion and any random number of books or artifacts that need to be found, I’m excited for. Yes, they seem to give away something essential in the trailer. But truthfully, that moment when the lead stares at himself is what really got me excited for this. So clearly it worked.
